Rules 

There is no  limitation to the number of authors, but a  maximum of two may present  it. 
Extended summary, limited to 300 words, with double-space , single sided typing on A4 size
paper  must be  submitted in  triplicate for the  purposes of  review . The summary should 
include the  address of the author(s), e-mail, description of the work, diagrams as required,
results, discussions and relevant bibliography. Review-type papers should however be submitted 
in full. The  accepted papers will have to be submitted in a specified camera-ready format. OHP 
and LCD Projector will be provided for presentation purposes .

Camera-ready paper in full may be brought by the participant directly to the venue . Paper may 
be sent as a word document on a 3.5" floppy disk as well.

Srijan : ---

	I) Open SOFTWARE Contest
	     You have to present a software which will be judged on the following criteria :
		1) Presentation
		2) Innovativeness
		3) Coding Style
		4) Performance Metrics
		5) Interface Design
		6) Usefulness
		7) Implementation
		8) User-friendliness
	Presentation Time : 10 min.
	Demonstration time:  5 min.

	II) Open HARDWARE Contest
		In this event the contestants could come up with models of their own interest
		and are given credit for innovation and implementation.

Rules

There may be a maximum of three participants per team. The hardware design or the synopsis 
of the software must reach the organizers by 20 September, 2001 for review purposes . The 
software design may be sent on a 3.5" floppy disk and must include both the source code
and the executable file. The software may be written in any high-level language.

AAKRITI : ---

	I) On the spot software contest
		The participants are required to submit a software solution to the problem 
		statement, which could either be in 'C' or Pseudocode(Algorithm) in about
		24hrs time.
	II) On the spot hardware contest
		In this event the participants have to design a circuit for the given problem
		in a stipulated time period.

Rules

There may be a maximum of two participants. For the hardware contest, the necessary apparatus 
and components will be provided. The  software may be written in any high-level language .

TrutiBodh : ---

	I) Rapid Debugging Contest
	     a code written in 'C' lang. is to be debugged on-line in short span of time.
	II) Hardware Trouble Shooting Contest
	     A hardware problem is given to the participants the solution to which should
	     be submitted in stipulated time period. The hardware problem is to detect
	     faults in the electronic circuits so as to make it flawless.

Rules
